Krystal had a great normal day as the birthday girl at school for her #8 birthday. But - then we went to the grandparents for her special birthday dinner and cupcakes:
I just HAD to make these "high-heel" cupcakes for my fashionista child. Krystal's very first word was "shoes" - and her obsession has continued and even increased from year to year. She has begged and begged for high heel shoes for years - and it has just been recently that I have been able to find some in her size. :) But - edible heels made her pretty happy!
Then on the Saturday after her actual birthday - we made a deelish lunch at Kristy's house, went to Lowes Extreme Air all together and hit McD's for dinner. The kids all had a blast and a half! What a super fun day! I wish I would have gotten more pictures - I only got pics from Lowes. :( But - posting this makes me crave the yummy home-made Alfredo sauce we made for our fettuccine lunch!

Eight REALLY is great! Our family is at such a fun stage - where all of us like to do the same things - and can enjoy all of the "big kid" things together. We have such fun as a family!
Happy Birthday to my amazing Krystal M - she is so much like me and gives me a run for my money constantly - but, having her around is so helpful - she is such a busy body and has all kinds of projects going all the time. I love her so very much! Happy 8th to my baby!
The cupcake heels were pretty amazing - I hated to eat one and ruin it! Love that sweet Krissy-pie. She's so much fun. Thanks for sharing her special day with us.
