In Young Women's we have been trying to go to the temple every month! The leaders take turns -- and this month was mine and Brandi's turn. I'm grateful for Rachelle and Raia who attended every.single.month! the whole year. Unfortunately, we stopped going every month because girls were just not coming ... When we switched to going quarterly, we had bigger groups. Still- I always had such wonderful experiences and warmth in my life whenever I was able to go. ❤️
I love this Allison friend of mine! We have really just grown closer and closer through Jazzercise - and I count my blessings to be able to have her in my life! We always have a great time together! Here we are at a BYU basketball game.
November means Young Women in Excellence! And our evening did not disappoint. With the strong theme "Anchored in Christ" - the whole event was incredible. The girls and leaders put together displays of how their ancestors helped anchor them in Christ. We served dinner, the girls prepared and performed a beautiful musical number with singing and violin, multiple Personal Progress ribbons were presented, and 3 YW medallions were earned! Another girl and I spoke along with an amazing message from the bishopric. It was definitely a memorable night.
Another fun activity we had in November was the Crazy Dinner! The kids ordered 3 items at a time from a mixed-up menu ... and that's how their meal came! LOL! Marissa ended up with sauce butter and a fork to start with! hahahahaha. I look at these pictures now (in 2016 as I am documenting them) - and I am blown away at how much my kiddos have changed. Ahhhhh - I've been blessed with wonderful children. (Picture on the right: Zac, Aaron, Marissa, Raia, Rachelle)
