Hey! Tiny Reindeer

So, the Second Grade Christmas Program is pretty much the cutest thing ever - and, we really enjoyed watching Krystal perform this year. That girl just oozes happiness - love her smile -- and, believe you me - she self promoted this event like crazy. Wrote it on our calendars - left notes around the house - phone calls - she ain't shy! ;) She practiced singing the songs at home quite a bit - and, for some reason, on the song "Eight Tiny Reindeer" (a hip-hop style song), I thought she was singing "Hey! Tiny Reindeer" - which seemed appropriate to me considering how little she is. When I typed the title for this post - I was adamantly told that I was incorrect. But, I digress. 

It's hard to get good pictures when you're back in the audience with millions of other parents trying to get pictures - and the kids are dancin' and singin' up a storm up on stage and I have tears streaming down my cheeks because of cuteness overload.  So, they're blurry - but, I love them nonetheless.

Krystal's easy to spot, because she is in black.  :)  She missed school the day before the performance and we missed the note home that she was suppose to wear red, white, or red.  She FOR SURE thought that she was just suppose to wear a dress.  I shoulda known something was up - she wants to wear a dress every day for regular occasions!  haha.

 

Where oh where does the time go?  I sure cherish these memories.
