And Krystal Said ...

I wish I wrote down everything hilarious that comes out of my Krystal's mouth - because, she is talking ALL. THE. TIME.  But, here are a few gems from September 2013 - December 2013 (and a few random pictures of our sweetie) -

This one might be TMI - but, I think just my family reads this, so - hopefully I'm safe.  We had stopped at a Burger King right after one of Aaron's football games out in Payson - because I was about to pee my pants!  So, while we were there, we got slushees.  While I was in the bathroom, I realized that I had started my period and had no tampons on hand.  So, when I sat down with my family (who were drinking their slushees and eating some fries), I told them that I didn't have much time and we would need to leave soon since I had started my period.  A few minutes later - when we got up to leave - Krystal jumps up and hustles dramatically over to where I was sitting and exclaims (WAY too loudly) - "IT'S OKAY, MOM!  THERE'S NO BLOOD!"
Nice.

Krystal researched Pinterest for the exact eye make up she wanted to go with her Halloween costume.  She chose a really cool spider web design - and I did my best to get it right.  I must have, though, because when Krystal checked out my handiwork, she said:  "OH my heck - I look absolutely fa-boo!  That's short for fabulous, you know!"

Krystal wanted to have a sleep over with a friend and I had told her no.  Later that afternoon she was complaining (and complaining and complaining and complaining ... seriously ... that girl can go on and on for hours) to Tyler and about it, and Tyler finally just said (simply out of exasperation) - "Well, what if I just gave you permission?"  Krystal gave him an appalled look and said, "Well, THAT wouldn't work, Dad!  'Cuz Mom's in charge!"   LOL.  She's got that right.  :)

Krystal came into our room just sobbing and sobbing because ... (and Krystal said) ... "Aaron and Marissa never compliment me when I do my Studio C impersonations!!"  (She may have been needing a little more attention and validation that month, huh?)

Aaron was singing in his crazy opera voice and Krystal said to him (in a whining, complaining tone) - "Why do you always have to sing opera?"  Aaron said - "you used to sing like that for fun too!"  And Krystal comes back - "Yeah.  Sheesh!  You totally stole my thunder!"  :)

Setting up the Christmas tree:  We have a pre-lit tree that is probably 12 years old.  I put it together this year and, when I plugged it in - to my dismay - only about 1/3 of it lit up.  I was really bummed and started to whine and complain when Krystal came down the stairs and into the front room ... her eyes lit all up and she exclaimed, "OH!  It is just SOOO beautiful!!"  I felt properly chastised and humbled - then stuffed that tree full of all the extra lights we had in storage.  :)  And, yes - it was beautiful.

January - mid winter:  Krystal put on a pair of flip flops just before heading out to play with a friend.  When I said, "Krystal!!  Really?  Flip-flops?  It's winter time!"  She said - "Mom, we can't be buried in shoes aaaaalllll Winter!  Our feet have to air out to stay fresh!"  Well, okay then - freshen up, girlie!

Love our Krystal so much.  Seriously.  Tyler and I watch her and just have to look at each other briefly to know how much we both enjoy her immensely.
