I remember our ENTIRE Spring Break being really fun. But - ONE of the days - we spent aaaaaalll day long out by BYU campus with Kristy and kids - and seriously had the time of our lives. So, prepare for picture overload:
We started off visiting the BYU Museum of Paleontology:
It didn't take long before the kids (and myself) were saying - "take a picture of this!" haha. It is a super small museum - but packed with lots of fun info. And, believe it or not - baby Ella was STILL pretty hard to keep track of. ;)
Shocked at the size of that hip bone!
What a great looking group of kiddos!
Oh MY. I laugh so hard every time I look at this picture! I told the kids to blend in with the background. They. did. not. disappoint!! Marissa is my favoritestestest! hahahahahaha.
Lotsa exploring ... and keeping track of Ella-pie.
Watching the archeologists/paleontologists at work. It looked pretty dang tedious, if you ask me. :)
I love how kids love to pose for pictures. :)
Being able to stand right next to a triceratops head was really eye opening for me. They are ginormous!
Walking in dino steps ...
Mostly - just being together makes things like this so enjoyable!
One of my favorite parts of the day was the fact that we had to get a snack just about every other hour! Ha! We were eating all day - and I loooooovveed that. Of course we had to hit the
Soda-licious shop across the street from the BYU stadium. YUM!
Red shaved ice makes perfect kissy lips!
The kids saw the cougar and wanted to stop - We WERE just across the street, after all!
Everyone wanted to give it "5" -
We came over to this pretty stream/waterfall to try to get some pictures - but, the sun was so bright and the kids mostly just wanted to play. Still - it's a pretty spot - and the kids had fun (for about an hour - than they wanted to eat again.) :)
TyTy surprised us and showed up during a break for a bit. Love that man!
Check out these cool stairs!! We all thought they were pretty sweet.
We pretty much walked all over campus - so, no wonder everyone was always munchy - we hit the Eyring Science Center to play and hang out a bit. Here are the kiddos getting hit with the air blaster by Kristy. Miss Ella thought it was pretty hilarious.
Lotsa fun exploring!
Here is Aaron messing with the "optical illusion dollar" - it really looks like you can get a hold of it. Makes for some funny looks and laughs. :)
I absolutely love the inquisitive faces that these experiment stations bring out in the kids. So cute!
Making the looooooooooooong trek back to the car.
Then we met up with everyone at the Creamery for dinner and ice cream. :) Krystal is always happy to have her dadda by her side.
Brought our fave ice cream home with us - Graham Canyon!
What a great cram packed full day! Totally MADE our Spring Break.
Love the engagement-esque pictures of you and Tyler!! Haha! Looks like a fun day!
