First and foremost - Marissa passed the Learner's Permit test!!!!! She was worried she wouldn't get that checked off her list before her 16th birthday - but, she did. We celebrated in true "Marissa" style by splurging at Sub-Zero for yummy ice cream.
Then, Melynda set Marissa up with a good friend who does hair - for a new-grown-up-do. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!!

!!!!! Don'tcha just love it? "The Melt" is what it's called - and Marissa looks absolutely stunning. Melynda also gave Marissa a certificate to get her hair layered for her birthday ... I'm not sure I got pics of that - other than just our every-day pics. But, it's gorgeous. Just sayin'! Growing up is hard -- but, there are certainly some fun perks!
SHE LOOKS STUNNING!!!!!!!!!! i had my permit for 2 and 1/2 years i was almost 18 when i finally got my drivers license i hated driving and i still do it took me 3 times to pass the driving test i cant believe marissa is 16 what a fun age for her
