Well - we did it again! And ALL beat our times too! Woo-Hoo! Race for Red 5K 2013 (Krystal and TyGuy ran in the mile race)

Me and my two running buddies. Aaron crashed and burned big time right at the start of the race - I wasn't even sure we would be able to run it - he hit his head pretty good right on the pavement ... and then a big tall guy flattened him like a pancake - but, he just took a moment to shake it off and then preceded to run the whole first mile with me - then his grandma stuck with him to the end.
Marissa came in just a few minutes behind me! Good job, girlie!
I know our times aren't super fast, but I am SO proud of us - they are the fastest times we have ever done. Felt good! Here's Aaron with two of his favorite lil' buddies! They were great cheerleaders.

I hope we can do this every year. It's becoming a fun tradition. :)
I love that we can all do it together. Next year we'll start in the middle of the pack away from all the superfreaks! Should make for a better start. Love all the smiles.
