Every year we look forward to our family reunion camping trip with the Miller clan! We always have a super swell time - here we are ready to head up to Palisade Campground!
Then we immediately got down to business! Set up camp, get out M's bag-'o-fun that the kiddos always love, and get the food cooking.
Palisade is fun with the paved paths for the kids to bike and roller blade on:
DEFINITELY the best part is just hanging out together for several days straight!
Some golf for the boys (and gramma :)), of course:
And 4-Wheeling!! There are beautiful trails up there that overlook the Manti Temple:

Oh, how we love this baby Ella! She is just a joy to have around - so happy and good and fun.
I'm so grateful for this man who set up camp (since I could not deal after trek with setting up camp again) - and got all of our air mattresses blown up - only to discover that one had a leak!! :( He got 'er fixed up, though. What a guy, that Ty!!
Ty DID have the help of this fine young man right here. Yep - we make 'em good in this family! :)
We have to set up a little "Play" tent for the kids each year. :) Did I mention how happy lil' Miss Ella is all the time?
The Miller Family Camp-Out just wouldn't be the same without some good old fishing! (And Marissa would claim that it wouldn't be the same without a good old competition ... which she is proud to say she has won as the best fisherman for several years now!!) She really likes to rub that in for James' sake. ;)
Life would be extra tricky without our electronics!

Poor gramps got scraped like crazy when the outdoor stove fell on his shin! Ouchee. Grandma Pat fixed him up good with some extra stylish bandaids. :) And side note -- the kids laughed SO HARD about what Gramps said when he got hurt ... close yer eyes if you have sensitive ears (haha) - he said, "Stupid-Ass-Dammit!" Marissa has a complete fit of giggles every time she remembers this moment. Nice. haha. Then - it was time to pack up:
We really DID all help - but, some things just the men have got to finish up. :)
Such a great trip ... again! Can't wait until next year's adventure!
So fun to look back at our trip. So sorry about the potty mouth. But it really hurt!
