Goodness ...

Aaron played a duet in Sacrament Meeting with Rachelle (a girl in our ward as well as piano student of mine). I cannot even tell you how perfectly they played -- seriously -- not ONE mistake! They had had a few places that they struggled with and were worried about - but, they practiced them as best as they could, so they were prepared. While they were performing - they kept smiling at each other or just to themselves, and I was thinking - "they made it through another trouble spot perfectly and they are so happy!" and "They KNOW how awesome they are doing!!" Well - come to find out - they were all smiles because Aaron's alarm on his watch went off and beeped through a good portion of the duet. HAHAHAHA! So funny. But really - they played beautifully and perfectly. Here they are during one of their practices:

I walked in to check on the kids one night before bed - and there was Krystal reading out loud to Marissa with Marissa listening very attentively.  And that princess book is LOOOOOOOONG - just sayin'! 

I'm so grateful for good kids!
