The big 1-2. Aaron was SO looking forward to this birthday. He was extremely excited to receive the Priesthood and be able to pass the Sacrament and attend the YM/YW activities (yes - he said that specifically. :) Not just young men's - but - the COMBINED activities - haha!)
Here he is the day of his birfday (March 7th, 2014):
He got lotsa presents (which we don't normally do) - but, seriously - he has grown out of (AGAIN) every item of clothing he owns! Funny that the pics I took are of two things ya can't really grow out of though. haha.

He's come a long way - and grown into his huge noggin' - but, you can still see that sweet spirit shining through, yeah?

We checked he and Sambo out of school and took them to The Golden Corral - as per request. (gross - just sayin')! But, the boys absolutely looooooooved it! And, I have to admit - even I enjoyed the rice krispy treats dipped in white chocolate. :)
These littles of mine always request a dinner at Gma and Gpa's house for their birthdays. And- their awesome grandparents always comply. So we had a yummy dinner and fun night there Aaron's birthday weekend.
What a fabulous kiddo! Happy birthday, dude!
Only 12 and yet so mature and wise. What a wonderful young man he is! Aaron, you are much loved!
