Aaron achieved the highest award possible as a cub scout in the year 2012 -- the Arrow of Light. We are so proud of him!! He was able to share that special night with one of his very best buds - Isaac. Those two are such fantastic kiddos!! I feel very blessed as a mother that Aaron has a friend like Isaac - they are in the same class at school this year - are in the same Primary Class - and, obviously - in scouts together.
We (parents, leaders, and cub scouts) participated in a neat light-up ceremony:
Proud -- proud -- proud. I don't know if it shows enough!
The Cub Master had the boys bow and wave and blow kisses (well - Aaron did that - haha) while the audience applauded and he had music and fireworks going in the background. It was awesome!
Aaron invited his gramps to be there. He's had plenty of help from him while working to finish the Arrow of Light. Thanks, Dad!
Earning this award was A. LOT. of work. Aaron had such a great attitude and really pushed himself to finish. We are lucky parents, that's for sure!
