This youth conference was particularly fantastic, because we were able to include the 12-year-olds! So - both Marissa and Aaron were able to attend together ... and me too!
We kicked the weekend off with baptisms for the dead at the Provo temple:
I'm so happy to have these two!
Then we had a tacos and game night at the church -
This "seated" basketball game was the best - all the kids loved it. And Aaron ROCKED at it, naturally!
Our plans to go to Heber Valley Camp were delayed - so, we headed to the Bean Museum to help take up some time. It was a "Win!" decision!
Marissa, Ellie and I were calmly walking around when those two girlies on the left came RUNNING helter-skelter towards us and yelled - "Come quick!! It's an ELEVATOR!" Seriously? but - check this thing OUT! It was the biggest elevator any of had ever seen! LOL. Excitement totally redeemed. :)
Then we headed to the park for lunch and this crazy - seran wrapped ball of goodies game:
And kickball -
When we made it to Heber Valley Camp - the kiddos got to the lake for canoeing and paddle boating!
We rocked it on the highest tree swing ever!
These two cuties did too!
We participated in all kinds of team building activities:
And had tons of fun on the ropes course:
Sitting around the fire pit together in the evenings was the best!
And the hike was pretty sweet too. :)
We ended the hike with a testimony meeting right there at the top.
Best Youth Conference EVER!
