I am about an entire year behind on blogging!! So - today is my meager effort to try to start catching up. Life is full. And busy. And crazy. My brain may not be able to handle remembering a year ago. But - I have to try. :)
Here is Krystal at the beginning of Summer 2014 - true to her busybody form - she does not let the word "bored" encroach in her life. She checked out a book on origami from the library and promptly got to work.
Marissa made a Summer goal to try every flavor possible from Lani's Shaved Ice (I believe she did it, too!!) - Here is flavor number one! [I think she determined that wild strawberry is the way to go ... of all the flavors available].
Would you look at that?!? The FIRST flavor she tried actually was wild strawberry!! HA!
So - as Summertime goes - I set up (I thought) a pretty clear and easy to do list of expectations for the kidlets. As is proof from the below picture: #1 - You can 'get around' just about any rule, #2 - Kids are messy, #3 - I am clearly the boss, #4 - Live and learn (you better bet my expectations will be even MORE clear this Summer! haha)
Melynda helped the kids start their Summer off with a BANG! by taking the girls out for a "Princess" day. Hair and nails did. They ALL had the best day ever. Isn't M the greatest?
Hanging out at the park with cousins is also a must the SECOND school lets out. :)
Okay - cousins AND Sambo - what's fun without the SamMan? :)
My pretty Kryssie -- who constantly checks the temperature to see if she can get in her swimsuit and get wet!! And then is freezing cold and still smiling.
I love this picture. Plonnie is pretty much always surrounded by the littles. They love her. She loves them. I love her!!
June 9th - off to the zoo for Kristy's birthday! She was so awesome to take my kiddos with her family on her birthday. I'm so grateful to have her and her family close by. My kids always jump for joy when we get to play with them. :)
Whew! Looking at these year old pics makes me even more excited for what Summer this year may bring! And these pics were JUST from the first 10 days of June!! My kiddos seem to have grown up so much this past year!
